Jonathan Leong (a.k.a The Cyborg Samurai) is a Singapore-based artist, whose studio works across a range of creative disciplines spanning contemporary art, concert projections, private commissions, web content, and collaborative projects. Jonathan has created artwork for collectors and clients such as Nike (Kobe Bryant), B-Capital, FOFA (Family Office For Art), Tiger Beer, New Balance, and legendary Russian Rock Band Му́мий Тро́лль.

He had his first solo exhibition at The Culture Story, a leading private collection in Singapore, and sold out all the key editions of his works. Jonathan’s art practice is representative of his experiences growing up alongside the evolution of the internet, from a time before the advent of digitalization to society’s current social media and meme-propelled consciousness. His work examines a reality where media, culture, and society are evolving faster than ever before; where society is in flux, where we are constantly switched on yet look fondly at the past as our lives and experiences in the real and digital worlds continue to blur into the future.
